Lazarus, affectionately known as “Hollywood,” and 17-year-old Boaz Flemister were among those killed in a devastating accident involving an SUV late at night on the Bishop Ford Expressway in Chicago, Illinois. Both were members of Chicago’s Empiire Dance Company, a youth dance organization known for mentoring and showcasing talented young performers throughout the city.
According to officials, the SUV carrying members of the dance team was involved in a serious crash while they were on their way home. Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident. Authorities have not yet released full details about what led to the collision.
